Nambour RSL holds a strong position within the greater Nambour community, servicing one of South East Queensland’s most consistent growth corridors.

With a new Marketing Manager joining the club in late 2020 (from a non-hospitality background), Maer Group was engaged to provide an introductory training workshop for the new Marketing Manager.

The workshop introduced the Marketing Manager to core principles for:

  • Membership profiles and demographics
  • Loyalty programs and member engagement
  • Understanding the AEMP mix
  • Effective direct marketing
  • Analysis and business intelligence systems
  • Compliance, workflow and operational strategies
  • Orientation of core systems and software

Following on from this initial training, Maer Group completed a comprehensive marketing audit for Nambour RSL.

The marketing audit delivered a thorough review of Nambour RSL’s marketing strategies. This included a detailed membership profile covering current demographics, 3D heatmaps and membership population percentages, along with a database health check and review of the new member onboarding process.

The audit also included reviews of Nambour RSL’s loyalty program, promotions, direct marketing and systems.

Maer Group hit the mark on the brief to upskill Nambour RSL’s Marketing Manager (Kath) according to CEO Suzanne Long.
