Maer Group is a Sunshine Coast-based agency specialising in marketing and business strategy for the hospitality industry. We’re looking for a creative and highly organised marketer to join our team.
About the role:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the development of promotions, direct marketing and advertising activities for our licensed community club clients.
This includes using industry specific CRM systems for email/SMS marketing and coordinating marketing materials for a range of platforms including websites, digital signage and hospitality systems.
You’ll also work with our Account Manager to help develop and coordinate promotions, prepare digital advertising briefs and coordinate marketing requirements with third party suppliers.
As a data focused agency, you should be comfortable working with data and multiple software systems.
Must have:
- Currently undertaking or have completed tertiary marketing qualifications and/or marketing industry experience
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills, with an eye for detail
- The ability to work with and analyse data
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Ability to work semi-autonomously and as part of a team
- Comfortable with technology and a quick learner
- Permanent work rights in Australia
Good to have:
- Experience in a hospitality marketing, especially licensed clubs or pubs
- Basic knowledge of design including Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of WordPress CMS
- Understanding of CRM systems and direct marketing via SMS & email
- Digital marketing experience
- Sunshine Coast based & ability to start ASAP
